Other Stuff

It took me 20 years to realize that the song Polish people sing after their birthday song translates to this-

May the star of good living for him/her never go out,

And whoever doesn’t drink with us, let them get struck by lightning,

And whoever doesn’t drink with us, let them get struck BY LIGHTNING

WELL THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY

Longing for adventure. For European nights with old buildings filled with young people.

Poland is fun with people :)

I took a walk in Poland one day.

What a relief to feel a chilled breeze after two weeks of stagnant heat.

Rain/thunderstorm could’ve come not on the day of my planned outdoor campfire though, jus sayin :P

Poland Discoveries

Vodka is disgusting, but feels pretty goood.

Teaching English is harder with people that already know some of it.

I am going to get fat.

There is not a pair of denim shorts in this world that look good on my legs.

Kamikaze shots are both beautiful AND tasty!

I’m not too great at making friends.

But goshdarnit I’ll try!

Incoming Ivy league sophomores talk too much about alcohol.

Despite my mention of shots in this list, I don’t really like people who “like to party”.
